Truck Driver Observes Large Bat-Like Humanoid Gliding Over Cicero, Illinois
I received an email on evening of Sunday, May 28th from another flying humanoid witness in Chicago. I immediately contacted the witness by telephone. Below is the email (some information is redacted):
My name is Billy B. I drive a semi with a large carrier company in Chicago. On March 29th, I was at Rosen's (Alpha Baking) on Cicero Ave. and 290 expressway in Chicago. I was picking up a load of bread there. I noticed a flying object at around noon in the airspace to the south coming from Midway Airport. The object looked like a man with wings - like Batman. I thought it was an experimental drone or secret government military test. After seeing the picture by the Indian statue (8/22/2011 - 63rd and Pulaski Rd in Chicago, IL sighting), I am convinced it was the thing these other folks have seen.
I have 3 witnesses for that day and the text to prove it happened. I absolutely swear it was this "Mothman". The object was gliding over me and disappeared in the clouds. It is very loud by the expressway and I have had no recollection of screaming. Shortly after I saw this thing, I had a litany of strange health problems that are documented. My eyes are even messed up, like the movie and other claims. I have all the documentation to prove my story.
I hope I am not considered a freak after this but this sighting can be proven well before the other sightings were reported. I have nothing to gain by reporting this so call me if you have questions. The health issues are very odd and serious. I have had several MRI tests and a lumbar puncture due to the pressure behind my eyes. Now, these issues could be due to some other disease that has no diagnosis.
NOTE: I called Billy B. as soon as I received the email. He explained that this figure was the size of a large automobile, and looked exactly like the 8/22/2011 sighting (refer to the interactive map...click sighting number 1 for the photo). He also mentioned that it was in Midway International Airport airspace.
Billy B. has forwarded documentation proving the bizarre medical problems he has endured since the sighting...eventually traced to a rare condition in his eyes. As well, he forwarded documentation on his mother's death, which occurred unexpectedly approximately 3 weeks ago. I have no proof that these incidents are related to the sighting, but it is noteworthy nonetheless and part of the record.
Billy was very forthcoming and answered all my questions without embellishment. I truly believe he witnessed what he described, which he believes was a winged living being because of the way the figure naturally moved...Lon
UPDATE: I have been struck on how believable the witnesses have been...especially those who I have personally interviewed. I have tested them...trying to see if they'd embellish the sighting. Nope...they have distinct descriptions and stick to it.
4th Sighting in Chicago: 'Giant Bat' Over Lake Michigan / Montrose Beach
Chicago, Il 2017-04-15: I was out on the lake with my husband and a two other couples celebrating a friend's birthday. We were about 2 miles out on the lake, just off of Montrose at about 10pm. We were enjoying ourselves when I happen to look up and saw what looked like a giant bat, and not like a Fox Bat (which I looked up and saw was the biggest bat). This bat was as tall as my husband who is 6'4 or even bigger. It was solid black with eyes that seem to reflect the moonlight. This bat was blacker than the surrounding night sky and was perfectly silhouetted against the moonlit sky. This bat circled the boat three times in complete silence before heading off towards Montrose. It quickly blended into the night sky and was gone in seconds.
About five minutes after seeing this bat we saw a bright green object traveling north to south at the horizon. It was not a plane as it was brilliant green and was moving slowly across the horizon. If I had to estimate, it was about 2 miles from our position.
After the object was out of sight, we sat there looking around in stunned silence. I began feeling this overwhelming sensation of dread and told my husband that I felt that it was prudent that we get off the water as quickly as possible as we tried to get a picture of the thing as it circled our boat, but all I got was black. - MUFON
A little after midnight, early on the morning of July 15, as most of the Korean peninsula slept, were North Korean spies up late listening to the radio?
This was the big question after a strange sequence of numbers was read out on a North Korean radio station. It sounded a lot like the coded messages previously used to relay instructions to spies during the Cold War and perhaps that was the point.
The broadcast began at 12:45am, according to the Joong Ang Ilbo.
“From now on, I will give review work for the subject of mathematics under the curriculum of a remote education university for exploration agents of the 27th bureau.”
It continued, “On page 459, question number 35, on page 913, question number 55, on page 135, question number 86, on page 257, question number 2,” and so on. It lasted for 14 minutes.
You can hear some clips of the broadcast in these two TV news reports:
It came as a surprise, the Joong Ang Ilbo said, as North Korea hasn’t used such communications for 16 years.
In fact, a similar broadcast was made on June 24 and initially missed by most. It was just two minutes long, the Unification Ministry and National Intelligence Service said, according to an AP report.
North Korea used such broadcasts regularly for five decades until late 2000, when they were halted as relations with the South thawed under Kim Dae-jung’s Sunshine Policy.
Back then (as were the recent cases), the broadcasts were transmitted over the Pyongyang Broadcasting Station (PBS or 평양방송), a Korean-language radio station that targets listeners in South Korea, Japan and China with propaganda.
PBS puts out a powerful signal on mediumwave and shortwave that can be easily heard across most of the region at nighttime. The mediumwave outlets are jammed by South Korea but can be heard clearly in Japan. The shortwave broadcasts are not jammed anywhere; I personally heard them very well night after night in both Seoul and Tokyo.
The Yonhap TV News report plays the broadcast snippet over video of a radio tuned to 3320kHz, one of the frequencies used by PBS. It can also be heard on 6250kHz and 6400kHz shortwave and regionally on six mediumwave frequencies: 639, 657, 684, 729, 801 and 855kHz. The shortwave broadcasts often reach the United States in the overnight hours.
Numbers stations were used in the past because they provided an easy way to get messages to spies without the risk of getting caught handing over or picking up instructions. Agents simply needed to tune their radios to an assigned frequency at the correct time and take down the numbers. The numbers typically related to passages in a code book that then revealed the message.
Technology, especially the Internet, has largely made such broadcasts obsolete. These days, encrypted communications can securely relay data or it can be hidden inside pictures and video using a technology called steganography. It is presumed that North Korea has already been using such methods, likely for at least five years if not longer, either sent from Pyongyang or from one of the many government-run offices in China.
So why the sudden restart of broadcasts?
Some are worried it signals that North Korean might be planning some type of operation, alerting its spies by sending the coded broadcast. But for that to be true, North Korean agents would have had to have been listening at the right time to take down the message, and how would they have known it was coming? Numbers haven’t been broadcast for 16 years, so have agents really spent the last decade and a half listening just in case something came across? It is possible they could have been alerted that such a message was about to be broadcast, but then when why not send the message contents over whatever communications channel was used for such an alert?
Had this been a real broadcast, interpreting the message would have relied on code books that are probably years out of date, making the whole thing all the more unlikely.
There is also a possibility the broadcast really was some sort of remote mathematics course, but that seems equally unlikely given its sudden and unexplained start.
Perhaps the most credible theory says that North Korea is trying to cause a bit of panic and confusion in Seoul. If that’s true, then mission accomplished—at least for a day or two.
But the fuss in Seoul about the return of North Korean numbers on the airwave misses an important point: South Korea itself resumed its own numbers broadcasts back in February, although the National Intelligence Service isn’t as keen to talk about those.
South Korea has a much richer recent history of using numbers stations than its northern neighbor. After all, while the Internet and digital communications have made the radio stations obsolete in the rest of the world, North Korea stands alone in the almost complete absence of technological progress. So radio remains the best and safest way for South Korea to contact its agents in the north.
South Korea’s broadcasts ran for years with the same format: a Korean song and numbers: “Attention number 521, attention number 521, please receive a telegram…”
Here’s one such broadcast:
This type of message was such a regular fixture that a community of radio monitors had given it a nickname, “V24,” and one had worked out a detailed schedule of broadcast times and frequencies. You could consult the schedule, tune in and pretty much be assured it would be there. Until one day in June 2015 it wasn’t. The station abruptly left the airwaves and wasn’t heard of again until February 14, 2016, when regular broadcasts resumed.
“V24 is less active today than it was 6 years ago, to be sure,” a radio monitor who goes by the nickname Token, told me. He has closely monitored the station for years from his listening post in the Mojave Desert.
“However, the activity level today is roughly equal to what it has been at for approximately the last 2 years, slightly over 20 known transmissions per month,” he said.
The station is assumed to be operated by the National Intelligence Service, but that has never been confirmed. Radio monitors in South Korea have managed to pinpoint what they believe to be the transmitter site near Seoul, so it’s a pretty safe bet it is an official South Korean government station. The site is shared with one of two South Korean propaganda radio stations that daily pumps out hours of propaganda aimed at North Korea.
But these aren’t the only mysteries in the airwaves above the 38th parallel. Another station started up in late 2015 and is currently monitored more or less on a daily basis. It has been dubbed “V28.”
“At first it appeared to be a typical ‘spy’ numbers station, but as time goes on, it appears more and more to be a military station, possibly for some kind of training,” said Token, who has monitored it many times.
Here’s one recording:
“It is still being called a numbers station, however its function is somewhat in question.”
Radio monitors are convinced V28 is coming from North Korea, although the sometimes strange broadcasts have them stumped. Some have talked of hearing conversations, possibly a TV playing in the background, while the broadcasts often jump or drift in frequency—a possible indication of an old analog transmitter.
Whatever the source and content of all of these broadcasts, they do represent a peculiarity of the Korean peninsula in the 21st century. With the absence of international communications in the DPRK, this Cold War technology lives on here like nowhere else on the planet.
Commercial satellite imagery of the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site from April 19 indicates probable trailers near the North Portal, the tunnel that North Korea appears to have been preparing for a nuclear test. While no recent dumping is observed, there are at least five mining carts along the tracks leading to the spoil pile and one probable small equipment trailer adjacent to the support building. A net canopy remains in place, presumably concealing equipment, and the pumping of water out of the tunnel to maintain an environment optimal for instrumentation and stemming seems to have ceased.
Figure 1. Probable trailers observed near the North Portal.
At the Main Administrative Area, no volleyball games are observed, but the outline of the court in the north courtyard is still visible. There is a small truck or van present in the south courtyard along with several unidentified objects and activities. While the imagery is not high enough resolution to determine what these objects are, some may be supplies or equipment with tarps or netting draped over them.
Figure 2. Several unidentified objects and activities observed at the Main Administrative Area.
No activity of significance is noted at the West Portal, South Portal, Command Center Area or elsewhere in the facility.
It is unclear if the noted activity represents a “tactical pause” before a forthcoming nuclear test, a broader more prolonged “stand down” from testing or normal facility operations. Regardless, satellite imagery continues to indicate that the Punggye-ri nuclear test site appears able to conduct a sixth nuclear test at any time once the order is received from Pyongyang.
Chicago Owlman / Mothman Seen Again By Multiple Witnesses!
Chicago, IL - 2017-04-15: I arrived for work at 2AM at the Chicago International Produce Market just off Damen and as I walked across the parking lot, a bunch of guys (4-5 guys) were staring up at the sky. I looked up and saw the biggest freaking owl I have ever seen! I’m 6’2 and I’m guessing this thing was at least a foot taller than me. It was completely black except for it having bright yellowish/reddish eyes like a cat. It stood there for a minute or two staring at everyone before shooting up into the sky and disappearing. It made everyone feel very uneasy and only took off after some guys threw some rocks at it. It had wings on it like an owl, only bigger and you could hear it flap those wings when it took off.
It made this sound as it took off and flew away that sounded like a truck's brakes when they are burned out. It flew up and flew a wide circle, making that sound once more and then flew off in the direction of the Stevenson Expressway. We stood around and looked for it for a few minutes but it never came back.
I’m reporting this because there is no way this was an owl, it stood upright like a man, just really, really tall. I don’t want to discuss this with anyone and would prefer to remain anonymous. I don’t imagine anyone would believe me anyways. One of the guys I work with who saw this thing said that it made him feel very uneasy, like a scared kid and he was glad someone threw a rock and made it fly away. - MUFON
Back in January 2017, the following account was forwarded by a colleague, who wanted to know if I could offer advice. Since then, my colleague has not received a reply after volunteering their help. I was recently asked to post the original inquiry...so I'm presenting the information 'as is':
I live in a house about about 15 miles out of Omaha, Nebraska. My closet neighbor is about a mile away. About 3 months ago, I woke around 11:30 pm to the sound of my dog going berserk at the door. I grabbed her by the collar and told her to shut-up, when there was a knock at the door. I cautiously cracked open the door and peered out. There was a middle-aged man with a black fedora and a dark overcoat. He politely asked me if he could come in and sit awhile to get warm. Something told me not to let him in. But he didn't seem to be a threat, so I let him in. My dog continued to growl and wouldn't leave my side. I told him to sit at the kitchen table while I put the dog in my bedroom.
When I got back, I was able to get a better look at him. The first thing I noticed (which I didn't notice before) was that he had dark hollow eyes. I mean like there was no life in them! I was alarmed, but then he told me he "has plans for me." I didn't know what to say, so I laughed and asked "really?" Now I was starting to get a bad vibe from this guy. I was thinking that I had a pistol in the drawer right beside me. He asked me to come with him and I said no. He went into a rage, stood up and lunged towards me. But I got the jump on him, pulled open the drawer and grabbed my .45 automatic. I told him that it was time for him to leave. He smiled at me and said "you think that's going to hurt me?" I told him there is only one way to find out. He smiled, bearing his long white teeth like an animal and took another step. It was at this point that I was really frightened and unloaded the clip into him. I know I hit him but he just stood there, looked at me and said "your destiny has now vanished." He the simply disappeared into thin air. My cabinet behind the spirit were riddled with bullet holes. That's when I realized that this was a spirit of some sort.
Now, I wonder if I made the right choice by shooting at this spirit or if I should have listened. He or it has been back several times since that night and I want to know how to stop it. My girlfriend has seen it as well. A few weeks ago I let my dog out into the yard, but she didn't return, which wasn't unusual. She liked to stay outside at night. But the next day, there was still no sign of her. So I went out to look for her and found her laying dead near the woodpile. She had been strangled and anyone who knows the size and nature of a Mastiff knows that it is nearly impossible to strangle one. The spirit now appears with a huge grin and shakes it's head. I want to know how to stop it. I'm convinced it killed my dog. Can anyone help?
U.S. Special Forces Hunt 'Killer Bigfoot' Group in Western North Carolina
Dave Schrader received a letter from an anonymous man, claiming to be a former U.S. Special Forces operative, regarding a mission he was apart of back in the early 1990s:
“In the early 90s, I was with the 'Teams' in the Navy. We were sanctioned by an alphabet government agency to put a stop to several aggressive Sasquatch in the high country in western North Carolina. We all thought it was a joke at the mission briefing but it was no joke. My partner (in our team of twelve) was my swim buddy. He was Native American. This man wasn't scared of anything. Before we were ordered to go out, during the briefing, all of these agents were showing us slides of what these creatures did to people; adults and children alike, as well as the damage done to vehicles and homes. Anyway, my buddy turned white with sheer fear. He told me, 'This is bad. Really bad.'
When we arrived in the little mountain village town, the sheriff met us. He told us that he'd never been so happy to see the cavalry since he'd been in Korea. He showed us the actual places where, as he put it, 'this is where those f**kers, those big hairy demons, destroyed this', or killed him, her or them, there. My buddy was taking everything in like I never saw him before. After talking with the sheriff, our lieutenant told us to fire up because we're going hunting. As we were getting our gear ready, my buddy said to me, 'You know, I always thought my grandfather was just telling me scary stories about he and his brothers when they fought the wild men.'
We started in around 1400. By 1600, we found lots and lots of tracks. We started tracking them. We made out at least seven different individuals. We made first contact at around 1930 and it was almost dark. The point man stopped dead in his tracks and spoke into his headset, 'I see one, it's f**king huge!' The lieutenant said, 'If you have the shot, take it.' He shot this massive hairy beast with a 7.62 millimetre round and it acted like a mosquito bit him. This creature turned around and let out with a God-awful roar. Our point man quickly switched to full auto. This time the creature dropped like a rock after ten 7.62 millimetre rounds cut up his chest.
After first contact, the agents radioed in and said they wanted one alive. Our lieutenant told them to go screw themselves. It took three days and nights with almost no sleep but we dropped seven hairy bastards. We found the missing people, or rather what was left of them. We had one casualty when a team member was snatched straight up into a tree. There was nothing anyone could have done for him. To this day, thinking of those three days sends chills down my spine. You wont find those three days in any military record or mission log.
Going into our mission debriefing where normally we are asked a thousand and one questions about every shot fired, every angle we fired from, every angle we fired on etc., we were simply told that the past three days we were doing rigorous mountain training and during that training period we lost a man. And, with that, the debriefing team stood up and walked out. Now normally we have individual debriefing for the whole team but this was the one and only time it was just team.
So to answer your next question, after three days government agents came in and removed all seven corpses and flew them out.”
